Giving Plastic the Flick Competition

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Provide a written statement describing an idea, or alternative action that can be taken, to reduce plastic use (especially, single-use plastic use). Statement is to be no more than 100 words. An entry may also include a photograph to support your statement, however this is not required.
  2. Entries must also include first name, surname, email and contact telephone number.
  3. Entries must be submitted via email to ycgplastic@gmail.com
  4. Each entrant may only submit one entry.
  5. Entries must be received by 11.59pm AEST on 31 July 2017.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  1. Entrants must be residents of Australia who are 18 years or older
  2. Winners must be able to collect their prize/s from Yandina Community Gardens.

This competition is an initiative of YCG’s ‘Giving Plastic the Flick’ Group. At this time, the group is predominantly Facebook-based through our closed Facebook group, Giving Plastic the Flick (YCG) –  a place to share ideas, information & experiences on all aspects of reducing plastic use & the impact of plastic on our environment. It’s a place for those seeking support & advice and those who want to share their knowledge with others. Together we can change how we consume, through sharing, educating, inspiring & encouraging each other! We aim for group to be positive, supportive & inspirational in the face of a gigantic environmental problem. We can all do our bit to reduce our impact on the planet.
