Bucket ‘Louie’ was once a recycled maple syrup or stock bucket. He lives at Yandina Community Gardens but spends half his week having a day out at a food business in Yandina, getting fed lots of yummy food waste. He travels back to Yandina Community Gardens in the safety of one of our overprotective volunteers, and feeds our compost. Louie diverts up to 40L of food waste from landfill every week. Understand your buckets life!
Steps to sponsor your bucket:
- Choose your monthly contribution amount
- You will receive an email from us requesting your pun
- We will write your pun on our Food Waste Loop bucket and this bucket will be named after you!!! (Option for an anonymous bucket)
