Linda and Doug’s son Nathan died peacefully but very unexpectedly in his sleep in his cottage on their Rosemount property on 27 November 2021. He was 44 years old.
Nathan was a kind, gentle, very intelligent person with a great sense of humour. He cared very deeply about the planet and like many of us felt powerless to make it a better place. In his early days on the Sunshine Coast he worked with Linda and Doug in their superb health food shop and later at Forest Glen Market Place as well as a number of other places.
In those early years he was an enthusiastic member of the newly formed Yandina Community Gardens and served as President for a time, organising a couple of really great festivals which brought young people into the gardens.
Our thoughts go out to Linda and Doug at this unbelievably sad time.
